MHT DIABETES TRUST

Manawatu Horowhenua Tararua Diabetes Trust

Receiving a diabetes or pre-diabetes diagnosis can be sometimes overwhelming and isolating. If you're unsure about where to start, or who to talk to, the MHT Diabetes can help.

The MHT Diabetes Trust is a Charitable Trust that serves the people of Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. We also support youth and their families in Whanganui.

Our registered nurses and dietitians provide free group education and support for people with pre-diabetes and diabetes throughout MidCentral North Island.

Our youth coordinator provides youth and family support for families who have a child or youth with diabetes, and for young adults up to age 30 years.

Offering a variety of in-person, Zoom courses, support groups, social events and camps, the MHT Diabetes Trust can help support you at any stage during your diabetes journey.
